We are a bit like Angelina Jolie, that likes to help out the less fortunate, using her fame to create awareness about the causes that she’s fighting for. And since it was “world volunteer day” this week, we went with our friend Lina to Borj El Barajneh, one of the many palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. Here, 20 000 people are squeezed into one square kilometer. In this chaotic neighborhood the kids here don’t have much, and need all the help they can get. Lina has been working there for some time, developing a playground on a rooftop for the kids, among many other things.
We painted a wall. Now it’s white.
Check out Lina’s blog if you want to read more about her projects, and help her out with the kids.
Thanks, 2famous, for signining onto my blog! Ah, to be in Beirut! Have fun, continue doing good works!
